موسسه خیریه حامیان سلامت کودکان (خیریه سلام) از سال 1400 با اهداف زیر شروع به کار کرده است:

1- تامین هزینه درمان بیماران نیازمند بستری در مرکز آموزشی درمانی کودکان حضرت امام حسین (ع) اصفهان

2- کمک به تامین تجهیزات مورد نیاز مرکز آموزشی درمانی کودکان حضرت امام حسین (ع) اصفهان

3- تامین هزینه توسعه مرکز جامع سلامت کودکان و تعمیر و بهسازی ساختمانهای موجود

در ایران بیش از 1050 بیمارستان (دولتی، خصوصی، خیریه، نظامی) به ارائه خدمات به بیماران مشغول می باشند و از این تعداد بیمارستان تنها 8 بیمارستان به کودکان اختصاص دارد.

مرکز آموزشی درمانی کودکان حضرت امام حسین (ع) اصفهان یکی از این 8 مرکز است که در سال 1389 با 160 تخت راه اندازی گردید و در حال حاضر  184 تخت فعال دارد.

زمین این مرکز توسط توسط شادروان مرحوم حاج مصطفی سخاوت به مساحت 8100 متر مربع اهدا و عملیات ساخت آن به همت مرحوم آیت الله کمال فقیه ایمانی به مساحت 14000متر مربع انجام گرفته است.

این مرکز تا کنون بالغ بر 200000 بیمار بستری را تحت درمان قرارداده است که بیش از 30% آنها از سایر استان ها بوده اند.

با توجه به مراجعه روزافزون بیماران جهت استفاده از امکانات تشخیصی درمانی ، امکانات فعلی این مرکز دیگر پاسخگوی نیاز همه مراجعین نبوده و بیماران در برخی از زمینه ها مثل اعمال جراحی الکتیو و ناهنجاری های بدوتولد در لیست انتظار قرار می گیرند.

یکی از اهداف خیریه حامیان سلامت کودکان (خیریه کودکان سلام) تامین هزینه توسعه مرکز جامع سلامت کودکان و تعمیر و بهسازی ساختمانهای موجود است .

قسمت های اصلی طرح توسعه شامل ساختمان منصوری ، مرکز جامع سرطان کودکان، ساختمان روانپزشکی کودکان، پارکینگ و مجتمع خدماتی و همراه سرا جهت اقامت همراهان بیمار است.

در این راستا طی سالهای اخیر تلاش های بسیاری برای خریداری و تغییر کاربری زمین های اطراف مرکز آموزشی درمانی کودکان حضرت امام حسین (ع) صورت گرفته و بخش زیادی از زمینها با کمک خیراندیشان محترم خریداری شده است.
